Is there anybody who can give me detailed information about the stock OBD1 CRC protocoll? I don't want to switch the checksum off. The calculation of the checksum is not really the problem, but i need one more information to calculate it. I need the value of the generator polynom of the ECU. I found out, that there are two different values for the CRC-8 generator polynom are used - 0x31 or 0x07. And starts the calculation with 0x00 or 0xFF ???
