So I'm working on my friend's computer because we're getting ready to tune our basically bone-stock b motors. Really we're just trying to learn about tuning so that we'll be ready when he boosts his car soon (summer probably).
So through some weird trades and buys or something he ended up with a computer that was apparently built by skunk2. Everything inside is brand spankin new and it had warranty seals on the top and bottom middle screws. It has a slightly different layout than honda obd1 computers but the only noticeable difference is in the area where the ic's for an auto go. Instead there are a few resistors and other things. His car is not auto.
So whenever we tried to put a different chip in (stock itr, stock b16, and on, and on, and on) we would get an immediate code 19 which is an auto tranny lockup solenoid problem. This doesn't happen if we put the skunk2 chip back in or if I put the skunk2 program (taken from that chip) and put it on our flash chip (27sf512).
The only info on fixing a code 19 on here I could find was to remove rp18 and rp17 and jump rp18 (this is the exact setup of my chipped p28) so I did that..same results all around.
I've attached the bin if anyone thinks that it will help (debug mode is enabled if that's important)
