I have a question about p28... If there is a difference in the oem fuel/ignition maps between auto p28 and manual p28...

please.... I wanna know, if doing software auto to manual convert will give me equal performance like an original manual ecu...

Which MCU code does your ECU have? If it's the same as a manual trans then there is a good chance it is the same.

I have only an auto edm ecu and there the code is 317... and now I found that some of auto and manual ecu's have another codes like 251, 304, etc... What programm have a most agressive maps?

Now something else that I can't figure out.
In twiki library is guide about how to do auto to manual convert. They said that a USDM p28 need a jumper on a RP18, and the JDM p28 need another value of a resistor on this cel.

Question is what I have to do to the RP18 on the EDM ecu (that looks like a USDM - a big body) ???

I already put a jumper there and a car runs good but, is this non-resistance solution can burn or damage my ECU?

RP17 removed and RP18 jumpered is for the USDM through hole boards.
So if your ECU is the large case style and looks the same as the USDM ECUs (showed at the bottom of the conversion page) then the conversion is the same as the USDM ECUs.
If it uses surface mount parts like the JDM ECUs then I'm not sure. Logically lowering the resistance of RP18 would be the step I'd take.
Having a jumper instead of a 1.4K ohm may cause problems, but I'm not sure what that resistor is doing so I can't say for sure.
