I have a 97dohc b16a type r (del sol)motor with a 5 speed tranny and lsd. The cpu I have is a jdm p30-900 which is for a automatic and a regular motor non type r. My question is would it be better and easier to rechip the cpu with a after market chip for that motor?? I know about replaceing the rp18 resister to 1.4k but what i'm not sure about is everything else such as the timming curve fuel curve, vtec etc to match my motor.

The motor is installed in a 69 austin mini so i will have plenty of power to move a 1300 pound car.
