Hi, I recently bought a CRX si from someone that had a z6 block and y8 head. It was running like crap with the virgin p28, not sure if it's a bad ecu or what, but I burned a z6 map to the chipped ecu and plugged it up. The car runs fine except the speedometer will "stick" at certain spots while accelerating, like 15, 25, 45, then when I decelerate it rarely goes below 15. This makes me think there's a short somewhere ? Also, I have a solid CEL that doesn't leave after the fuel pump primes. As I said, the car runs great.
Since I bought the car with an obd0 harness, obd1 block/ecu, and obd2 head...I'm not sure where to begin with wiring. It has a 1-wire o2 sensor, could that cause a solid cel? should I replace with a 4-wire? What else should I check in this conversion?
I forgot it also idles funny. When I first start it, it will idle at 2000rpm. When it warms up, it will drop so low that it almost dies. I plan on turbocharging this weekend, so would really appreciate any help. I've never messed with an obd0/obd1/obd2 car.
Thanks
