i think the engine sim need to have many update.

EGR LED works fine on the sim... if you have a program that supports PWM. Crome does not, so you won't be able to test it without getting something better.

The chip the sim comes with is Crome, so no it won't work.

Although its a bit crude, what's great about using the actual head and crank sensor to generate RPM pulse is that I can hook up a timing light to it and see changes to timing.

You can still test that it works appropriately, since it should be off when the RPM is 0. The sim is pretty well done.

Just tested the engine sim bought from xenocron. I was wondering why the Vtec light did not engage when I turn the RPM knob all the way? Yes I was using the chip that came with it. The injector pulse also went on simultaneously and not according to firing order as shown in the video.

Tried with a couple of chipped and known to work ECUs but still the same. However, when I socketed a stock B16A base map chip with Remove Checksum...Datalogging+RTP and so on, the injector pulse was firing like in the video tutorial.

Any idea why this is happening?

You didn't disable the necessary things to engage VTEC on an engine simulator, like the speed check.

Disabled everything but still no sign of VTEC LED lighting up when passing the VTEC rpm range...any idea ?

what bin file and ecu code you used?

Used the "Engine Sim" chip that comes along with it...no luck...infact the injector LED remains constant and not blinking accordingly to firing order...

So I remake a ROM with everything disabled using CROME...the injector LED lights up accordingly to the firing order...however still no luck with VTEC LED...

What I found weird is that the wire from pin A4 has a constant 2v-2.5v of voltage...kinda weird...it should suppose to carry 0v right?

try used crome plugin remove VTP+VTS remove, if cannot try bypass VTP jump wire from pin A6 to pin D6
