can someone tell me what i need to be able to write roms in windows xp.. i hate having a multi boot computer..

I want to be able to Burn the Rom.. I meant sorry. I use Win_prg and that is win 98/Me only.. is there something i can use im win xp to Burn them.. the chips

Robert, I discovered a neat feature of XP which should allow you to do this. The idea is to right-click the EXE file (not the shortcut, but the actual EXE) of the program you use to burn, and click PROPERTIES. A dialog box will come up. Click the COMPATIBILITY tab (2nd tab at the top). Check the box that states "Run this program in compatibility mode for..." and choose a previous version of Windows from the drop-down box. (Win98/ME)

Note: I use XP Professional, and i'm not sure if XP Home has this feature. Reply if that helps. Hope it does.
