i am not new to programming computers apps or webpaging but i am not pro at it too...
but this programming binarys rom + assembly is vastly unknown to me
so, a few questions to start.

how do you identify the tables and other values in the ecu roms?
and how is the research done?

The code of course. Or look for patterns in a hex editor. Some hex editors cater to that I'm sure.
