I just got lc1 and ostrich configured and working . In Crome when I select a different map sensor in adv boost tools it it does not stay that way? Car runs with stock map sensor and not omni 4 bar. I selected the xenocron 4 bar which is supposed to work but starts and dies . Can't find specs of that sensor to do a custom either. I am new to this maybe I am being stupid? Please help

Re: map sensor wont save in chrome

Both the ommi power and xenocron 4bar map sensors use the same motorola sensor. This means the setting are the same. What makes you think its not saving the selected map sensor. Is it because when click on advance boost tables and it still tells you stock honda 1 bar? this is normal. Watch the manifold pressure table values when you add boost tools. Then close out the file and reopen the file to see if the values have changed or stayed the stay.

If you say its not saving the new selected map sensor because it doesnt idle correctly or starts and die. Have you tryed tuning it yet.

Re: map sensor wont save in chrome

When I open adv boost tools it shows 1 bar so ok if that is normal. Not sure how to tune car without engine running? I had a chip with street tune before that started on basemap with stock map sensor with no prob. I am trying to get car running with new basemap via ostrich .am missing something here? Where cap I see mani pressure table without previous data log ?

Re: map sensor troubleshooting omni4bar

talked to omni... I have a counterfeit, whereabouts known by them but sensor works, guy at omni helped out alot. crome fuel tools injector setting was problem(for me) before cc and after is what screwed me up. 240 to 450 . I had 450s with crome with old setup. I set to standard 240s and it ran a bit high and rough but ran . not sure about fuel multiplier function but does not apply to my situation. Next is tuning ! idle check!
