HI all,

I just got my MTX-L WBset and a DKU5 cable.
I used TE in the past to tune my car and others... but now i want to use the ecucontrol datalog.

I installed the plugins which goes flawless on XP, but when i load my binfile i cant open the Ecucontrol.... I can click it, but nothing happends...

plz help!

install logworks 3 if not already...post back what happens.

Do I need to hookup the MTX_L wideband set and USB DKU5 cable first to see the ecucontrol plugin popup?
Or just when I click on ECUcontrol pluging (afther I loaded my binfile) it should popup?

It will pop up if everything is installed correctly, even with nothing plugged in.

ok, it doenst popup.. should i try a older version of TE?

i just installed logworks3. when i open it it says:
No serial port, IMS USB device, or IMS Network device detected.

I Click on OK and the programm opens..
I have the DKU5 USB nokia cable. didnt install the drivers yet... but i guess TE isnt working correctly?

Read these and try the 6.1.18 installer.

One of the resource files is more than likely not registered correctly.

read the text on the 1st and 2nd link you just posted.

I downloaded mtssdk.ocx and wanted to put it in my plugins folder and noticed that it was already there.
I replaced it anyway and it fixed the problem.
