Hi PGMFI,

I have a OBD2B EK Civic hatch with a stock D16Y7 motor. I have installed a DC Sports exhaust manifold which doesn't accommodate a secondary O2 sensor or the catalytic converter and as a result I have a CEL.

I have a P28 ECU that I'm going to socket and am looking for a stock D16Y7 base map. Where would I find this? I'm not looking for a chip just the map.

Also, will the simple install of a OBD2B to OBD1 jumper harness and a chipped P28 with a D16Y7 base map eliminate my CEL? Will I have to change anything else to accommodate the P28 ECU?

Here are two ways to get a base map. The first option, they build a custom one for you and your set up for 20$. The second link is a list of free downloads of stock roms, and modafied roms. Some are tuned, some are not. It is recomended that you tune your base map specifically for your car. If you do this your self, there is more equiptment you will need, if you have someone else do it, you will be fine with your setup. How will you be burning a rom to your chip?
