I have an ECU that the customer says dims the lights on his cluster over a certain RPM. He sent me a video and I can see the problem. I replaced the ECU and the problem is gone so I know the ECU has an issue.
In my 18 years repairing ECUs I have never come across this failure and will thought the ELD circuit is a good place to start. Any opinions?
In the meantime I will start troubleshooting and keep everyone informed of my progress
