So I'm a newbie when it comes to tuning but I want to learn. Now that that's out of the way, my question is this: could I run a LSV setup using a LS bin and add VTEC to it and call it a day? I know that most people will reply with "use a P72 bin, GSR, yada yada yada" but I want to try something that hasn't been done (or that has and failed miserably lol) I tried searching this forum along with google for this question but I couldn't find any information so any information would be great.

to be honest, if you're a newbie and want to learn then listen when everyone says to use a p72 or p30 base. you gain nothing by adding vtec to a non vtec bin. that's why every one uses a p30 or p72. personally I like using a p30 for all my b series vtec basemaps, I usually just import p72 tables onto it so it is closer to the right values. other than that, I don't know anyone who has successfully added vtec to a p75 map without using a p30 or p72 base.

Two months later and I realized how much of a hassle that would've been haha! I ended up using a p30 base and changing my vtec engagement points. So far, so good **knocks on wood**
