I found a Jet ECU for less than $40. It's for my '89 CRX DX 5spd and owner claims a 5-10hp gain. Does anyone else have experience with JET ECUs and is it worth it on a stock DX? I plan on adding a cat-back and cold air before the end of this year. Thanks!

DX is not a performance engine. COmputer upgrades aren't going to do @!#$.

The Si intake manifold and ecu would gain much more in the way of power.

Was this Jet ECU meant for the DX? I have never seen an after market chip for the DX. You might be looking for a MPFI swap before you can even use it. I'd love to see the bin for that chip though...

Hey, Tim,
If you have the means, it would be great if you could send me a copy of the ROM. I could probably tell you whether it's doing anything. Most of the aftermarket ROM's I have seen (the ones you pay hundreds of dollars for) do little more than tweak the fuel and ignition maps by a few percent and remove the rev limiter completely (dangerous!).
