Hi Guys....

Looking for some assistance. Downloaded and installed turbo edit 2.5.3 and when I run the program a dialog box pops up with

Runtime Error "50003"

No other program windows are visiable and when I click OK on the dialog box the program shuts down. [as expected]

I would guess that I am missing some compoent or dll ? Anyway I am running on Windoze 98SE and I just downloaded the latest service packs and updates... Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

theres no 2.5.3

the latest is 2.5.2
make sure its not a corrupted install
try dowloading it
and making sure its all good

woops, yea it's version2.5.2. I was typing the version number in from memory and it looks like I got ahead of myself.

I downloaded turbo edit again and installed it in a W2000 desktop that I have.... all looks good. Take the exact same file, copy it to the laptop and install.... still no joy. Maybe it is some of the VB components that needs to be present..

Anyone else have any ideas? I am sort of stuck with the laptop since I want to take it to the dyno.

i have the same probleme fresh instal window98 se and i get the same error and it was workinng before i replace the hdd on my laptop

try version 2.o.11&2.5.2&2.5.5&2604 all give the same error
500003 unexpected error
