what do you do when the red error at the bottom pops up....

Hardware Error : Check Power & connection.

Power is hooked up and everything. Ive used the burner plenty of times in the past and now its not working. I have noticed that the bare metal tab beside the usb white cable on the board has a lil brown around the sordering connection on the opposite side of the board.
