Overview
Fuel pressure regulates the volume of fuel supplied to the engine. Increasing static fuel pressure raises fuel delivery volume; however, elevated fuel pressure can delay injector opening, compromising precise fuel metering.

Pressure Effects on Injector Performance
High Fuel Pressure:
- Increases fuel delivery volume

- Risk of fuel starvation under high load conditions

Measurement and Adjustment
