A spark cut is when fuel continues to be supplied to the motor but no sparks are triggered to ignite the fuel. This is a good way to shoot flames out of the back of a hot exhaust. Spark Cuts are generally implemented by aftermarket ignition systems. The stock ECU uses a Fuel Cut for Rev Limiters and Speed Limiters.
