A/C Thermostat Switch Bypass
Guide for jumping the A/C thermostat switch during A/C system troubleshooting or installation.
If you need to bypass the A/C thermostat switch, follow these steps to jump the appropriate connections.
Under-Dash Procedure
Locate the 2-pin connector wrapped in blue tape, situated near the heater blower unit under the dashboard.
- Wiring Colors: Blue/Red and Yellow/White.
Under-Hood Procedure
Locate the A/C sub-harness connector on the passenger side of the engine bay. Jump the Blue/Red wire to the Yellow/White wire to complete the circuit.
