A/C Thermostat Switch Bypass
Bridge the A/C thermostat switch under the instrument panel using a 2-pin blue-taped connector located near the heating fan area.
Overview
The A/C thermostat switch must be bypassed by bridging a 2-pin connector located under the instrument panel. This connector is secured with blue tape and positioned near the heating fan area.
Connector Details
Location: Under the instrument panel, near the heating fan zone
Connector Type: 2-pin connector with blue tape
Wire Colors:
- Blue/Red
- Yellow/White
Bypass Procedure
Under the Dashboard
- Locate the 2-pin connector beneath the instrument panel
- Identify the blue tape securing the connector to the wiring harness
- Bridge the blue/red and yellow/white wires together
Under the Hood
- Locate the secondary A/C subharness connector on the passenger side
- Bridge the blue/red and yellow/white wires at this location as well
Note
Both the dashboard-mounted and engine bay connectors must be bridged for proper A/C system operation during ECU conversion.
Important
Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated after bridging to prevent short circuits or electrical faults.
